Patty & Duffy, two spunky cairn terriers, born on August 1999 and 1996, respectively. Duffy was an abandoned dog attached to a dumpster the Huggins adopted.

The owners were new to the neighborhood, they just moved to a new home in Granbury, Texas, a home right on the water and across the street from a golf course, a home without fencing yet, too, unfortunately. "We were doing some cleaning in the garage and both pets escaped, we were outside with them too," Joan said.

The owner started to worry since the pets were new to the area and did not know if they knew how to get back home. "We expressed sheer panic that day, we've had Patty for almost 11 years, they didn't know their way, the area was totally new and foreign to them. We went up and down the street and afraid they wouldn't find themselves back home because it was a new neighborhood. At a new home, we started off on a terrible note, but it was a relief to hear from Smarttag.com in the end," Joan said.

They were gone for about 45 minutes when the Huggins got the call from the Smarttag.com call center.

"Thankfully, when we got back home there was a message from Smarttag.com and also a message on my husband's cell, we were finally put out of our misery," Joan said.

Joan explained exactly what happened to their dogs that day.

"They crossed the street, went through the neighbor's yard and took off running through the golf course across the street...We would have never have found them without their Smarttags on."

Joan expresses her confidence with the service.
"We were hesitant on getting the Smarttags in the beginning and did not know if they would really work but, now I'm so happy and glad that I purchased them."

The service was recommended to them from a beach store in town, "the service is great!" Joan said.

Joan is really glad to have bought the Smarttag's for her pets.

"Within two weeks of getting the Smarttag's, we lost our dogs and found them, immediately! I wouldn't have any other tag now."
