A friendly and jovial Jack Russell named Leo was born on November 7, 2000. He likes to chase squirrels and birds and play ball in his spare time. At nine years old, this spunky Jack Russell went touring around the neighborhood one afternoon weekend --without his pet parents permission! Frances, Leo's pet parent, left Leo in the yard for a little while before going grocery shopping. Apparently, Leo dug a hole into the ground and escaped to five doors down to a neighbor's backyard, where a good neighbor called the SMARTTAG number on Leo's tag and kept Leo until his owner returned from grocery shopping.

Leo's owner was certainly surprised when she received a call from SMARTTAG in the grocery store.

"I was shocked because I just left him in the yard. I never imagined anything like this would happen, but I am very happy and glad that the system works because it didn't take long to get him back."

Frances goes on and says she was most impressed that Smarttag.com followed up the following day with a telephone call to see how everything was going with her pet.

"It's a visible device people can see right away and should give it a chance because the system clearly works!"
